How often? Was it every day till you accomplished what needed to be done?

How many hours per session?

Did you work together with her or she did majority of work on her own?

If NY/NJ area- approximately how much did you pay per hour?

Tia!

Had zoom sessions with an organizer coach once a week for an hour, who guided me how to declutter and organize. She gave lots of tips and guidance on how to do it myself, and gained skills so I know how to do it forever.

This sounds like what I desperately need. Can you please share her info? Thank you!

How much was each session?
Did you bring the phone/computer into that room? How did it work?

Bumping this up with my original question.
For those that worked with an organizer in the house to de clutter/organize.

Thanks!

I had the organizer cone twice a week, 5 hours at a time, for a month.

I wanted to be involved, so we did a lot together, but they also did a lot on their own.

It was intense but really.amaizng.

Most importantly, get an organizer who can teach you to maintain it.

I've done it with 3 different organizers. Although, one of them I only used once.

Ideal is 3-4 hour sessions. Shorter than that is a waste.

1-2x a week

Until you reach your goal.

My current organizer also offers maintenance visits after the process is finished.

I was involved with almost everything with all 3 of my organizers.

Important IMO is that they take whatever you give away with them. You don't want to deal with it yourself and have second thoughts.

No prices because I'm in Israel.

There’s a great course that you can take on zoom to learn how to minimize and declutter yourself. https://www.frumminimalism.com/

Are there any others to learn to be a coach?

My organizer came for a consult on a room then we set up 2 organizing sessions of 4 hours each. Paid her by the hour also paid her to find size appropriate items for me. I worked alongside her per my request (worked very hard). I also continued when she left. But I could have left it all to her and she would have come for more sessions to get it done.
