Could anyone share average monthly electric/gas bill?
Monsey area
4 bedroom house
I know there are so many variables and factors but recently bill has been 600 range monthly and feels so high and dont think have excessive use wondering if thats in range or just crazy.

4 bedroom/ 3000 sq ft home. Before covid we paid approx 440 in the winter months. Latest bill is 790!

Gas/steam is very expensive.
4 bedroom in Monsey, around $400. In the summer, it's under $200.

I also feel like our utility costs skyrocketed.
We already keep our thermostat very low.
It's frustrating because what's the alternative? Freeze?

Same feel like we don't keep temp crazy and turn off when out etc...but still
K k if it's range then nothing further can necessarily do just wanted to have idea if crazy out of whack that we must be doi g somebeing wrong

K wait I checked and our house is close to 2k sqr feet maybe little more

I think $400 is a lot!!
We don't keep the heating on much.

We have coned use gas one split unit in the kitchen but barley use it I hate the cold so I do keep my temp at 73
