I had $50 cash and just now it said I have zero dollars. How long after it issues does it expire?

Don't know but there's been a big issue recently with snap money being stolen- yours may have been as well

Yes, the cash does expire if you don't use it. I don't get it regularly but got it as a once off, didn't figure out how to use it and it expired.
This is separate from snap benefits.
I don't know more about how it works just remember looking into it when it happened to me.

Same thing just happened to me. $50 and it's gone. I don't usually get it. It expires monthly I believe.
The way to use it is: go to a store that takes ebt. Buy something non food. Like paper towels. At the checkout tell them you're using ebt cash. And swipe your ebt as normal, the cashier selects ebt cash.

It's not monthly, I get I think once a year. I.had it for over 3 months, cuz I remember when the woman at the cashier told me I had it.
And she told me some stores will actually give you cash. Not as a scam, legally they're allowed to.

It was definitely less than a year. I would guess maybe 120 days.
