The least I can to make it presentable.
Usually comes out to $1.50
Not sure what will be this year with everything going up!
I send a lot, for sure over 50...we used to send more but cut down because of lack of time to give them all out!

We usually do for adults about $20 each and kids, between $5-10. My teenager usually is $10 each for about 8 friends. Younger kids give maybe 10 in total, at about $5 each. For adults, we give around 25 usually. Not including mm for rebbeim and tutors, which include gift cards and fancy chocolate platters. Purim isn't cheap over here but it's a joy and we love giving. Our tzeddakah budget is much higher though. We usually do 4x whatever we spend on purim, as tzedakkah (meal included).

My goal $4 - $5 apiece.

Teacher ones are about $10, and rav about $20 (both also have money)

I aim for 5-7$pp and we give out around 10. Then we participate in the shul and school ones that send to everyone, so that's another 2-300. My kids are little so we don't have to do for friends yet.

As cheap as possible. We are getting tomchei and help from family. We cut down in amount and cost.
Kids bags- I am getting plastic goody bags from Amazon, putting in a couple cheap snacks and done.
Adult bags- a cheap drink (cost $1?), a few snacks, an apple and done.
Fills the mitzvah and that's it. We do it for Shalom and the mitzvah.

We try to spend 150 shekels max on family ones. My kids don't give out much yet so we don't worry much about it.

Way too much, lol.
I love Purim and it's the one YT I love to spend on. I get very busy with my MM. We don't make a seuda (eat by family) so we save there, and I buy cheap costumes....usually lol.
I do watch what I spend but will spend more if I think something is really worth it....which normally ends up happening! Other YT - we are not big meat eaters or wine drinkers etc. so don't spend a lot on that. Purim is my time!
I spend a lot on rebbeim and teachers also. To me it is worth it as it shows hakaras hatov and I like to do something very nice.

I need to learn to do this more frugally.
How do you give something substantial that costs so little?

$5-10 for adults and we give around 40, some with wine and some with a different drink so that's why there is different pricing.
Less than a dollar per kids bags. 2 treats, 2 tiny prizes in a cute baggy with a label. I think I'm making 40 this year, I always feel bad when I don't give all the kids in the class, I always worry someone didn't get any

We do a danish and a drink for the adults. I think it comes out cheaper than fruits and snack. Usually either 3/4$
