Hi all,

Any ideas for a meal train for a large family (over 10 people)?
Nothing complicated or too expensive or unusual ingredients please.
Please include amounts as I have no idea how to cook for so many.

Thank you!

When we need to send meals for a large family, we split it between 2 people.
If you're doing it yourself, you can do a soup or salad, breaded chicken cutlets (15), cubed roasted potatoes (large roaster pan/ about 15-20 potatoes.)

Thank you both! What’s an easy chicken leg recipe popular with kids and adults?

Two pans of baked ziti
In each pan, mix: Mix 1.5 jars pasta sauce, 1 or 1.5 8 oz bags shredded cheese, 1.5 jars of water or milk, 1.5 boxes pasta (ziti is the best). Cover tightly and bake for 1.5 hours (depending on your oven, ours needs more like 2 hours).
Cut up cucumbers on the side

Spaghetti and meatballs
Salad
Use 3lb spaghetti, 3lb ground beef (stretch with eggs, matzah meal), and whatever your favorite sauce is

Two pans of chicken and rice
One pan of green beans (one or two bags frozen green beans, drizzle with olive oil and spices, bake 10 minutes)
Use six pieces of chicken in each pan

Duck sauce chicken. Just pour duck sauce on the chicken & bake. 2.5 covered, 1/2 hour uncovered.

Shake-n-bake chicken - also it cooks faster.

I've done hamburgers with an array of cut up vegetables, sauces, and either French fries or roasted potatoes.
