Hi - Anyone know a kid that runs a DJ that I can use for my sons bar mitzvah.
He really wants a DJ but I don't want to spend a lot on it.

I was at a bar mitzvah with Nachas and he did an awesome job
(Is it a thing in Lakewood? I’ve never seen it. I was at a bar mitzvah in Brooklyn with him there. He lives near Lakewood though)

It’s definitely Not a thing in Lakewood and your neighbors and school will be pretty annoyed if you make it one

Nachas isn’t cheap. If Lakewood didn’t start this nonsense, don’t do it.

In lakewood the school is not invited to the bar mitzvah.
We aren't inviting neighbors either.
This is not an issue of standards, I make the least fancy bar mitzvah. My son prefers a DJ to a keyboard player.

If I can't find an affordable DJ - he want me to rent speakers and have a playlist rather than a keyboard player...
