what can I do to help my just 2 year old? big cavity, don't want to do general anesthesia for a filling

If it’s just 1 cavity, a pediatric dentist along with two assistants should be able to do it quick enough that laughing gas is enough. They can literally get it done in minutes. Your son will be flying high so even if he gets squirmy they’ll be able to gently restrain him without too much drama or trauma.
