Quickbooks help NY

hi, im working in a company for many years. I do their quickbooks
as good as I am , I still have so much to learn

anyone know a quickbooks expert that I pay hourly to help me and guide me with certain questions I have?
or a great you tube video that can help me
I would really really appreciate any leads!!!

these are the 2 things I am grappling with

I just reconciled the month, I categorized all the transactions for next month and went to reconcile
when I went on reconciling page - there is one transaction from last month still there!
on a logical level last month matched so im guessing that transaction was in twice
but these transactions were downloaded from bank so how did this happen
I need to fix this, I need to do a reconciliation adjustment
I have no idea how to do this

another thing there are many checks that are not cleared from years ago- how can I deal with them.?
