Everything that can be charged to credit card is charged to credit card.

Credit card gets me a 2% discount on all purchases (Citi double cash card) because I get 2% cash back on all purchases. I also appreciate having the ability to dispute charges.

I of course pay it off in full every month.

Cash only. We don’t use credit cards, and I hate using the debit because I feel like I can spend freely. Only use it when ordering online.

Debit card only.

We had gotten into a lot of cc debt in the past (BH now paid off) so we don't use our credit cards for anything. We have them for emergencies.

I used to use a debit card but I had an issue with a company and had a hard time disputing the charge. I got my money back in the end but I was told it wouldn’t have been such an issue had I used a credit card. I pay it in full every month bh. Also love the perks of getting points.

Not cash! This is 2024 being asked to pay for something with cash is so aggravating to me, I stopped shopping anywhere that asks for cash (sorry I know off topic but recently had a very frustrating experience and felt the need to vent). Credit card only

I pay almost everything with credit cards but I pay every month when the statement comes. I accumulate point and have the protection of the credit card.

I don't even own a debit card - mine is ATM only because you don't have the same protections as you do with a credit card.

If my credit card is fraudulently used, I don't have to pay anything. If there is fraud on the debit card, the money is taken out of your account until the bank is satisfied regarding your claim of fraud.

If your debit card is hacked - theoretically you could then bounce checks which is embarrassing even if the bank clears it up.
