I have a flight in July. Do I have enough time?
Can someone guide me how to do it? Apparently you can do it online but when I google I get a bunch of websites. Anyone know which one is legit?

You are pushing it. Definitely look at the time estimates for an expedited passport vs a regular renewal. Get it done as fast as possible.

Its says I need 8 weeks. I have more than that till my trip

I just had a renew my passport in nj.
As long as your passport didn’t expire, you should be ok.
Print the renewal form online and fill it out.
Go to a place that takes passport photos. Don’t try to take the picture yourself.
Mail the renewal papers along with your photo and a check. The address is on the renewal form.
On the form it asks if you have an upcoming trip planned and what date it’s for. I did not write anything on that line and I got my new passport in around 4 weeks. I would assume that they would process it faster if they see an upcoming traveling date.
Worst case scenario, you can drive to Philadelphia right before your trip if you didn’t receive your new passport but I doubt that will happen if you mail it this week.
