Jewish Family Services is excited to present you with PARENT NETWORKS.
The parent network program consists of a group of 8-10 mothers that meets once a month to share insights and strategies with each other and ultimately make healthy decisions for their children.
The goal of these groups is to help create a support system for parents who often feel isolated when faced with difficult parenting issues. The groups are lead by facilitators from your community who have been trained through JFS and will remain under guidance of JFS.
While this project is supported by the school's administartion, it is not considered a school functionand should be organized by the parents. Therefore a lead parent must be identified for each group who will coordinate the scheduling between the parents and facilitator.
We hope to begin groups in January 2005.
If you have not signed up and are interested in participating in a parent network, please contact Suri Weil at (514) 342-0000 ext. 3459.
leave a message and she will call you back.
