I'm beginning to hope the boy was kidnapped and the sibling was forced to say he went up with the balloon. Do I have a good imagination?!

How scary.
although I doubt the boy was in when it got loose. Dunno why but it just doesn't make sense. Well I hope so anyway.

I was so happy when I heard that the balloon was reaching the ground 3 2 1... my heart was filled with joy (even though I have no clue who he is) but then followed with fear when seeing non of the ready medical crew was running over to the busted balloon. I'm so scared of even thinking what could of hapened. I sure hope he is found safe.

 I haven't seen any report that confirms that the boy was for sure inside the balloon to begin with... besides for this:

they found him hiding in his bedroom - he was scared ... it was at the end of the news - at least the version I heard on the radio ...
