Well, you pay a nice sum for the service, the owners should pay their employees well. Not us.

I always tip around a dollar or 2 for each thing I get done. The money goes to the worker not to the salon. My friend went to a chinese place once, and she forgot to tip them they ran down the block after calling TIPSEE.

I used to not tip after waxing, but noticed that some women were. So if the waxing is $5-$7, then most times I give $2 tip (once I only gave $1 since that was all I had).

Yeah so then they should ask more for their services. I think the whole tipping culture inthe US is insane. Here, if they ask a price, that¿s the price, no more is expected. That's how it should be.

In the Bay Area where I live it's fifteen dollars for an eyebrow wax and I tip another five so it's twenty total.

Don't use anything but a tweezer on your own eyebrows. Believe me, it's no fun to make a mistake.
Revlon makes the best eyebrow tweezers btw.

Yes. They have a bunch of types of tweezers, with different tips. Find the one that suits you best.
I have used one that has a slightly rounded, but pointed tip for years, and I love it.
