As a kid, my sisters used to always criticise my stubbornness. I thought it was terrible to be stubborn. But now, it comes in very handy when raising difficult children. It also helps me remain strong in my being Frum.

Same idea with being sensitive. I was a very sensitive kid, and I think I'm more sensitive to others now because of it.

I actually believe now that these are good traits. I guess there's a middle path that is the best. Too stubborn or sensitive isn't good either.

Any midda (almost) can be positive or negative depending on circumstances and how much of it.

As ruchel said.
Except when it's seen as a positive, it's not called stubbornness: it's called persistence, determination, conviction, refusal to be swayed, standing one's ground and a whole lot of other things.

Like any trait.
Your child is stubborn; mine is determined.
Your child lies; mine has a fertile imagination.
Your child is lazy; mine is relaxed.
Your clothes are sloppy; mine are comfortable.
Your thinking is rigid; mine is steadfast.

You have a good shabbos and I will, too.

Like the others said-if you use it for something good. Now that you are older and more mature you know more how to use it.

Every single trait and middah can be used positive or negatively. Even the ones that at first appear to be only positive (for example, generosity) can turn disastrous if overdone.

So kol hakovod to you for using these 2 traits in the postive way, since they can definitely be negative too.
