My dh just finished playing soccer and was dressed in shorts, t-shirt, and a cap, and went to visit someone. When he got there, the owners dogs really started barking at him. The guy said that for some reason they don't like when people wear baseball caps  .
When I was younger we had a dog that my sister found on the street. Every time a black person passed by the house, she would bark. She didn't have to even see the person. It was really weird! No offense to anyone black, unless you take offense what a dog did. You don't have to worry about her anymore because she died many years ago.

My girls are terrified of the Swiffer 
They also find it odd when I do yoga -- not that they dislike it but they need to monitor to make sure everything's okay

I have a parrot who is afraid of boxes, the color red, balloons, any new furniture... He was a rescue bird and has lots of little issues and phobias. He actually overcame a lot of them.

Growing up we had a dog who didn't like men with beards
The next dog would eat anything not bolted down, whether edible or not, except lettuce.

My dog is afraid of:
thunder
lightning
loud wind
the sound of the house settling
apparently he also thinks the backlight on my ipod is lightning, and that scares him as well
fireworks
the list goes on. . .

Wow, I didn't know anyone else on this site had pets!
My cat won't drink water from the tap - only bottled. He's a diva.
And he also doesn't really like catnip!

Tell me about it lol! Though to be fair, the tap water here tastes pretty bad. He's pretty easy going in other ways, though.

My cats love water from the tap!!! They prefer it over water in their bowls.
BUT they dislike it when they can see the bottom of their bowl..even if it still has food in it. We need to freshen it up for them.

My cat follows me into the bathroom, jumps into the sink, and starts rubbing her head against the faucet and meowing for me to turn on the tap. She definitely prefers running water over the water in her bowl.
She's also a little odd when it comes to toys. She barely looks at the toys I've bought for her, but goes crazy for brown bags, cardboard boxes, and the plastic rings from milk bottles.

michal, sounds like a baby. My son will play with his toy for a minute and then start grabbing anything plastic in site, wipes container, bags of things, tablecloth etc...
