I cant find the thread but I've heard it many times to take a nap during the day. Some days when I try it, it's great, other days it makes me worse, more cranky.

how long should the nap be?
if I know I cant get as much as that do I still nap?
does it make a difference when I nap, should it be the same time everyday or only when I'm tired?
is it an everyday occurrence or only on the day I feel I cant function?

so when I need to be refreshed I should lay down for 20 min?

does that mean asleep for 20 min or just eyes closed possibly tossing most of the time for 20 min?

20 minutes is a refresher. 45 minutes is also great. less than 20 will make you groggy; about an hour will also make you groggy at first.

I take a nap either right after the bus leaves in the morning, or about an hour before the bus returns. It depends how much I slept at night. If I had a normal night's s leep (7 hours), 1/2 hour right before the bus refreshes me for the afternoon. If I got less than 5 hours I need the morning nap.
