Any ideas on how to keep spiders away? Are there any special spray or natural stuff? trap? or something else?

You could encourage a bat to fly into your house. That's pretty natural.

I wouldn't be surpreised if a kitten would hunt them too - the spiders as well as a bat.

My cousin swears by having conkers (horse chestnuts) in the house but I have never tried it myself.
