It reminds me of the Chanel collection that I saw in the window of Holt's (the most expensive store in town!). Very lovely dress, and I hope your DD enjoys wearing it as much as I enjoyed looking at the pics!

I posting this here, just in case you didn't see it. I just saw it. Thank you Yael!
Thank you everybody! I just want you to know that I didn't post about the dress to get compliments, thank you again btw, but to get an opinion.

You're making the dress for your daughter, and says you should finish it, so what do the rest of us have to say on the matter? Nothing constructive. If she likes it, and she will wear it, then pay no attention to anything anyone else says. |
exactly my thoughts.... I give you credit for taking the time to make this!!! amazing of you!

The dress came out gorgeous.
Tell me, is it cheaper to sew in the long run or to buy ready? Do you sew bec. it's a unique dress now?

It's STUNNING. Looks like it can sell for a pretty penny in the frum stores. I envy your talent - may you always use it well!

I have no idea. I used to get the fabric for free, so that was cheaper . The total of the whole dress, not including my time which took about 5 hours I would guess, cost around $50-75. I would charge $20 an hour for my time . The dress is wool. Since I never bought her shabbos clothing, is that good?
