I bought a bag of spinach because it was on sale and for a while I'd been meaning to diversify my greens. Had a busy week and it's probably getting a little old now. What do you recommend? Recipes/links please? No nuts. Salad ideas fine but other ideas also good.

Simple:
little oil in frying pan
2 cloves of garlic
dump bag of spinach (after washing, of course)
sprinkle salt
serve!!!
It's yummy (the kid's like it too)
Good luck!

So you just fry the spinach leaves? With garlic? How long?

Get the garlic nice and hot and then saute for just 3 minutes. They will wilt pretty quickly.

Green Smoothie is nutritionally dense.
Mix greens like spinach with fruit and water in the blender.
Frozen fruit is best.
If you don't have frozen fruit use ice.
Green smoothie taste best when they are cold.
Simple Green Smoothie
Spinach
Frozen Banana
Frozen Blueberries
Enough water to blend, depending how strong your blender is.

Saute an onion and some garlic until soft. Add cumin, salt and pepper and allow flavors to come together. Add spinach and a can of rinsed chick peas, continue cooking a few more minutes until spinach is wilted. Best served warm as a side dish (but one bag of spinach wilts down to a very small amount once cooked).

Mix into cooked (hot) pasta and mix while flame is on low. Add cheese, a bit of milk, salt etc. Serve topped with parmesan cheese.
