I own the Duet and the handlebar tore really really quickly.

If you do have this issue, please post below. I want to make it clear to Mountain Buggy that there's a manufacturers defect with the handlebar - e/o I know has a torn handlebar on their Duet.

I've had this issue within a few short weeks of purchase, and the manufacturer said it's not covered under the warranty.

I know - they told me the same thing. However I've never seen a Duet WITHOUT this issue, so I want them to realize that there's an issue with that they are using for the handlebar.

UPDATE: I emailed them and posted on their FB wall how unimpressed I am with the quality and that there is something wrong with all of their handlebars bec so many ppl have this issue.
they reached out to me and apologized and offered me a new one.
if your stroller is still within warranty, then you deserve a new one. call them up and firmly request one.

ours tore within 3 mo. I called to ask for new one, they said warranty only covers defect out of box. but CS guy was very nice & said I should email him with photo, receipt & that was torn out of box. I was not comfortable saying so as I didn't remember seeing a tear when bought. so I said maybe the tear was on the side not visible and from usage it got bigger he's like ya ya. so @ least I didn't feel like I'm lying... I got a new handlebar couple of weeks later
