How to read a clock and the concept of time. For example I tell him how to tell when it's 4:00 that the 4 gets a short handle and a 12 gets a long handle. And he doesn't get it. I am missing something so how do you teach him how to read a clock?

There are kids books about learning to read time. My son used to have one that he loved. I think we ended up giving it away recently, but if I can find it, I'll post the title here for you.
