I'm still can't believe it, MJI - Michigan Jewish Institute shut down a couple of hours ago.
My sister was working there up until an hour ago when they announced that the board of education no longer agreed to give them federal funds. No paycheck for March, and no grant for all those American Israeli's who are depending on it.

yup. I guess you could say it's about time.
I can just imagine the yelps from all the 2,000 students they have waiting for 2015's grant when they learn that they can wait forever but it will never come.
