Weird Story that Happened to Me

Just a strange story:

Last night I entered the bathroom to find the entire toilet seat covered with urine drops, plus the bowl full of urine. It looked like someone deliberately sprayed the whole seat. Yeh, eew.

Now- it's only me & dh so no kids to have done this.
And dh is definitely not the type to do this (who is?)
I figured, ok, maybe it was a mistake. Weird mistakes happen once in a while. I just wiped it and went on with my business. But when thinking more, I decided that it really, really didn't make sense it was dh and thought perhaps dh brought a child to our home while I was at work.

I asked him if he did.. he said no. So I told him what I saw. He was surprised.. and knew nothing about it.

Ok. Chalked it up to one of those strange mysteries that we will never crack.

But later, dh goes to shower and comes back moments later saying seriously "umm.. this person also sprinkled into the bath.."

Now we were totally stumped and actually creeped out.
Did someone come into our home to use the bathroom? Tried figuring out who has the combination to our home.. only a neighbor plus my mom. I suggested that perhaps the neighbors' little boy had the number somehow and for some strange reason came into our house to use the bathroom..

After cracking our brains for a few minutes, and me getting a little freaked out about this mysterious bathroom thief.. we just left it as is. And we decided if it ever happens again we'll need to do some serious investigating.

Dh goes back to shower. Comes back seconds later:
"Figured it out."
"what???"
"Upstairs neighbor's bathroom leaked into ours."
"oh.. and I guess it was brown/yellow due to pipe or whatever."

Oh. Oh. Oh. End of this strange bathroom saga.

What a relief! I was getting scared that you had a creepy stalker. shock

My other thought could be that DH was sleep walking. My dad tells this story about when he was traveling a lot for business, and sometimes he'd wake up not knowing where he was. One night he went to the closet, peed in his suitcase, and went back to bed! LOL
