I know a few women who had skipped a grade. One I f them is a very good person. Each of them recommend NOT to skip a grade. Each of them was devastated by the social feel of being the "baby" in the class. No matter how good they were in studies, they would never do it to their child. Some of them went from being a super successful student all around to becoming a problem child with lower grades and no friends plus behavior issues.
