We are a young family who will be applying to school for our first soon.
Dh is in Graduate school and I work.
How do tuition discounts work?
We have a 6 month emergency fund.
We also have money in the bank for tuition For dh, that we scrimped and saved so that we don’t have to pay for loans.
Would they say no seeing that we have $$ in the bank?

The first thing they look at is your income and then your savings. If you are making 50k a yr and u have 100k in bank and full tuition is 10k you should get a discount.
