Looking to spend the day out with my husband looking for ideas of things to do. He wants to take off one day but will only do so if we have something to do.
Can even do a overnight with a day outing.

You didn’t say if you prefer city or country
But if city:
Highly recommend High Line and Little Island. Can also do Hudson Yards. All close together and cool and different in their own way.

My husband loves the spa but how does it work as a couple? And I would need a quiet one that doesn’t have many ppl.

Many spas have couple rooms. If you go during the week they’re generally more quiet.
