For the past few years we've been enjoying Mrs Bissli's now famous leek patties. But this year I need something quick that doesn't involve frying.
Do you think I can just pour the whole mixture into a pan and bake? Any other ideas?
ETA: Here's a link to the recipe if anyone is interested. http://www.imamother.com/forum.....11046

I would do it in muffin pans. Grease them well and bake until crispy.

Mmmm leek patties, one of my earliest food memories!
I don't think you can make them without frying. Good greasy Jewish food!

I don't want to mess with muffin pans either. Anyone ever made a leek quiche without potatoes?

Just wondering if anyone tried baking these in a muffin tin and if so how the results were?

I’ve put other patties in a pan and called it Kugel. Usually you have to double the recipe for that.

Updating that I tried it and it was great. Added an extra egg and small splash of oil and scooped it into a greased cupcake tin. Made 16 little muffins which is perfect for me.

Yes. My mother makes it like a quiche.
