OK so here's a new one:
There are 2 glasses of wine; 1 with red wine and 1 with white wine. Both glasses contain the exact same amount of wine.
You take a spoon from the red wine, and pour that into the cup with white wine. You stir. Then you take a spoon (the exact same amount) from the white glass (which now has a red/white mix), and pour it back to the red glass.
Question:
Is there now more white wine in the red glass or more red wine in the white glass?

I would say more red wine in the white glass.
Anyone else?

I think more white (1/9) in the red than red (1/10) in the white. Nachon?

It is surely equal. let me try to explain. After you finish pouring and mixing both times, both cups have equal amounts. So obviously whats missing from one cup (and is in the other cup) is the same as whats missing from the other.
So Zus, why is this wrong?

But she's not asking the total. Shes asking if there is more white in the red cup, or more red in the white cup.

I know that. But whatever amount is missing from the red (and is now in the white) has to be same amount as is missing from the white (as is in the red now).

No, because the spoonful of red wine you pour into the white wine is 100% red. But the next spoonful, the one you take from the white, isn't 100% white. It has some red.

But you are also pouring back some of the red back into the red. That means that there is less than a spoon of red in the white now.

And there's less than a spoon of white in the red... but how do you know it's the same amount?
I say that the red glass stays red no matter what and the white glass becomes pink, so there is nothing to talk about!

So lets say there is 3/4 spoon of red in the white.
But since both cups are equal now, the 3/4 spoon of red in the white had to replace the same amount of white.
It is really so logical.

OK, makes sense. I figured it was similar amounts, but couldn't prove it was the same.
But this threw me off:
