Where does it come from? What can I do about it?
Thanks!

Always keep the door open after the wash so it can air out.
Do a vinegar cycle to clean out the machine.

This.
Is it a front loader? If so, good to also wipe down the gasket after use.

It's coming from the rubber gasket/rubber seal round the door frame.

I have the same thing.
Do I have to wipe after each use?
There are tons of cracks and crevices. Impossible to get into everything.

.

Yes. Mold starts to grow on damp surfaces within 24 hours, though you may not be able to see it till much later. I keep a dedicated set of rags for the purpose right next to the machine. There aren't THAT many folds.
In short:
a. wipe the gasket every time you finish using the machine. Also remove the detergent/softener drawer and wipe it or let it air dry
b. run a tub clean cycle with bleach every 1-3 months (read your owner's manual, it may say monthly, but I do it every 3 months.)
c. If your machine has a little door on the bottom, open it up, find the little hose, remove the plug and let the water drain into a shallow basin. Do this at least once a month, though I do it every time I use the machine. I don't want to give mold any chance of getting a foot in the door.
