חיוט - it's a side street of geula across an electronic store
Don't remember by heart but I have her card. PM me to remind! I was pretty surprised to find nice and decent clothing and I did not have to squeeze into the biggest size - it was even too big

Tamari is American frum brands. I'm an L or XL in Target and Daniella Faye. Nothing I've tried on from Tamari has ever fit me. Even a 2XL

Check out Orit vZehava! I don't know the sizing for sure but they have a plus size section and some really nice stuff. There is a branch in givat shaul and also bnei brak and petach tikva. They have a website but not everything is on it so with checking out in person.
And I agree with the other suggestions to check out Daniella Faye. I think she has free shipping now or you can buy her stuff in everywhen in yerushalayim (or there is someone in rbs too who has her stuff).

Bianco Nero is on a side street in geula behind Nechama's bakery on Yecheszkel. I didn't see they had big sizes but their prices were definitely on the larger side!

Orit ve Zehava. Located opposite the big post office in givat shaul
Chayut. Several locations, inc bet shemesh and geula.
I have on occasion had luck in Golbary but generally their largest size is too small for me so I don't bother entering the store.
I also sometimes have found in Elegante on Kikar hashabbat.

Thank you for starting this thread. I really feel for you - I'm here last-minute for a week (from serious out-of-town Canada) for my son's vort and I really thought it would be easier to get something here. Now that all these beautiful suggestions have come in, I'm heading to Geula to check out Hayuta which is located at both Ha rav Simkha Zisel Broide Street 3 Jerusalem and in RBS B (open at 8pm) at Sderot Nehar Hayarden 23 Beit Shemesh. I hope you find something that you feel really gorgeous in.

Do Golbary and chayuta have elegant enough for a neices wedding??
I will try all the places mentioned...TY! |
I am big. Probably size 52. I found a gorgeous top for my daughter's wedding at Chayuta in Bnei Brak a few years ago. She's pricey but it's worth it.

Echo the recommendations for Chayuta. There are branches in Yerushalayim, Bnei Brak and other places. Not so cheap (not outrageous but definitely not inexpensive) but she has everything there - everyday, Shabbos, simchos and all totally tzniyus. There is a website too. https://hayuta-belarge.co.il/

The worst thing about being fat...is that there is no decent clothes to buy! |
When I saw your thread title I assumed you had to be referring to the war.

This thread is months before the war. It's annoying when people bump old threads.

I always recommend 11 honore. You talk to them and zoom with them. Very helpful. I got the gown for my daughter’s wedding from there. Magnificent. Can be pricy but they work with you
