But we have Twinings tea in Israel (finally) as well as Lipton.
Osher ad sells the brand Impra, also good.

Blech, I ran out of tea and am drinking Lipton and it's depressing me. Israelis don't have teabags for 'social' drinking. It's really weak and individually packaged- just enough for one cup. I import Lyons or Barry's Tea, add a splash of milk and biscuit... heaven. The kids know to leave ima alone when I'm drinking my cup of tea...

I personally don't miss anything that much, but DH is wild for Entenmann's donuts, cakes, cookies ... anything Entenmann's. On visits to the States he packs up a suitcase-worth to bring back.

What's the opposite of tea bags for social drinking? Huge tea bags for a pot?
What are the best tea brands? I'm thinking of buying some on iherb. What do you suggest?

There were times when I would bring / get a lot of these things sent to NY. Now I've either got used to doing without it or you can buy most UK products now in NY.
Marmite is a necessity!
I miss Jaffa cakes. I bought a kosher version recently in NY - I was thoroughly disappointed.
Real British/Israeli bakery, Grodz, or Carmeli - especially the dairy cream cakes.
(No idea what Humzingers are.)
The only mustard is Colman's Mustard - which you can buy in NY now too.
Golden Syrup doesnt have equivalent in USA but can substitute.
American Kedem Grape juice is like drinking straight up sugar shot! It caters to the American sweet tooth. Very easy to like drinking it, but its not the 'real' grape juice!
RIBENA! Get me some of that please!

OOH I forgot about ribena! I used to love the strawberry flavored one.
I last saw humzingers when I visited England about 12 years ago. dried fruit sticks. yum.

Thomy mayonnaise is very available and yes there is Herbamare too.

Yup, Thomy is easily bought (specialty stores or even Amazon) -- it can be expensive though since it is an imported product. Well, I guess that depends where you live.

Herbamare I get at Costco (also available on Amazon, I think).

In England and Ireland tea is much stronger than in Israel. One teabag is enough for a teapot to serve about 4 people. I don't know whats considered the best, I just get whatever is available where I grew up.
