Having a simcha this shabbes. Weather showing 78 Very Happy

Should I make my kids sweat in their new velvet suits. I think thats weird. But putting on old shorts isnt funnier?

Do we dress according to weather or season at this point??

Fellow New yorkers, whats your take on this?

Theres a big diff in 70 degrees and 78. 78 is HOT.

The morning will still be cold, today I was out at 11 and it was still chilly jacket weather.
Mid day under the sun will be the only time it'll be hot and they can take off their jackets then.
When you're inside it doesn't make that much of a difference.

When you're walking in the evening and in the morning it will be chilly. Just plan that when you walk home after day seuda will be quite warm.

Don’t worry, op. It won’t be 95 degrees.
Morning and evening will be chilly.
It will be similar to today I think.
Just make sure the ac will be on since there will probably be a lot of people and it will be warm in the afternoon.
I think new winter will look nicer than summer.

78 Degrees in October is not the same as 78 degrees in June
Its a different type of hot
There will still be a breeze, and Like ra mom pointed out, it will be cool in the morning and late afternoon/evening
