I have/had PCOS according to the ob/gyn specialist in the Maccabi clinic, many years ago.
I wasn't ovulating.
I wound up ovulating when I used 4 Icaclomen pills.
Bottom line - I had 6 miscarriages and 5 healthy babies B"H.
By the way, I was still overweight when I got prego. Every single time.
My original ob/gyn told me I would NEVER GET PREGNANT.
I'm glad I went to the fertility clinic. Icaclomen didn't have any weird side effects and it really did the job.
For the record, when I was in the Maccabi clinic, I was also going to an alternative health clinic. And we had decided that whoever gets started on treatment first would be the way we would go. We wound up with Icaclomen and, like I said - 5 kids.
After the first 3 children, for which I need the Icaclomen to ovulate, I became crazy fertile and my last two kids were spontaneous. I needed birth control at different times! (That was a killer though. The hormones were just horrible).

Yeah I'm not interested in shelling out 4,000 shekels for a course when there's plenty of nonjewish pcos courses for less than half. Meetings are like 8,000 shekels. That's insane.
Tahareinu needs to call me back....

After 5 early misses (split up with 4 healthy kids in between) I went to see Prof. Paul Claman in Hadassah. He said I have mild PCOS symptoms and am pre-diabetic. His suggestion was that I continue on with birth control while trying to lose weight and a couple of other instructions. The birth control made me extremely unhappy, and weight loss was not happening as I wanted it to.
I wanted off the birth control but was petrified of having more misses.
It was recommended (by our Rav) that we speak to the sexologist Dr. Daniel Drai. He advised me (after hearing my whole medical history) over the phone to get off the birth control and take progesterone- shots and pills- as soon as we get a positive pregnancy test.
I'm not going to lie- I wasn't sure I was 100% on board, but we went for it- I'm now almost 5 months pregnant BH.
Prof Claman was recommended to me by Machon Puah and is such a mentch. A gentle, kind, incredibly knowledgeable man who specializes in reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr Drai speaks broken Hebrew (he's French). Sometimes it's hard to understand his Hebrew but he was so generous with his time- I've never met him and he advised us via phone and WhatsApp for the first 16 weeks of this pregnancy.
Perhaps it is worth speaking to Machon Puah for recommendations. They have been so helpful over the years and would know who to direct you to.

Call Machon Puah and ask them for recommendations. They have an English speaking department.
