I am not familiar with any of the names mentioned here, but I have seen so much improvement with both me and my kids from cst. The change doesn't happen overnight, it can take a week or two to see and because its so slow and subtle, sometimes hard to see. It's good to keep a journal of symptoms to know if there's been any improvement.
Also yes, a problem that has been going on for a few months or years, will not be fully resolved in one session. You have to give it a fair try, which to me means giving it 4-6 sessions to see if it's helping. I know it's expensive and takes time, in my experience, it has been so worth it.
Last, but most important, the skill of the practitioner is the most important thing. It should be someone who has taken many trainings, not just the basic ones, and of course the more experience, the better.
