My mother hosted until she was 80. She wanted to do it since most of us live overseas and that was when we all got together. The last year she did it, though, she was so nervous, we told her this is it, it's enough, from now on you come to us. And she does, mostly. She's gone elsewhere once or twice, but usually she comes to us.

My mother is almost 70 and says she isn't ready to go away for yt so we go to them still...

When we bought our house 10 years ago we started having my inlaws for chag. I complained here and there because it's a lot of work but once chag happens I always enjoyed.
My fil passed away September 7th and I miss him so much. Nothing feels right without him. I try hard not to complain anymore ❤️
