I'd like to hear from other people if they have problems as well.

You’re talking about the vehicle, correct? What does reliability problems mean?

Assuming OP means the car, not problems about living a suburban lifestyle

We have ours for about 3 years ( pre- owned) with no problems.

I suggest you change your title to state you are asking about Chevy suburban suv.

The best way to determine whether a car is reliable is to go to one of the sites that rates cars and makes recommendations based on huge numbers of cars in their database. Either Edmunds.com or consumer reports.

You can purchase a copy of the latest Consumer Reports guide if you want a hard copy rather than getting the data on the internet.

CR rates all cars on reliability and also rates used cars. This is relevant because some cars were problematic for certain years and then became reliable or vice versa and quality declined.

I have always relied on these kinds of auto reviews rather than anecdotal reports from a small group of people in terms of making purchases - as did my parents.

We’ve had our since 2003. It’s at almost 200k miles. DH says still drives better than all our other cars.

They are big. You have to be okay driving something that big.
