Homemade Duck Sauce
a la the Moose
1/4 cup apricot jam
2 T cider vinegar
2 T water
Mix.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the only apricot jam I buy has gone extinct from the stores. (And strawberry. I'm down to apple spread only.)

I'm off to Whole Foods on Thursday; do you want me to look for something for you ? Tell me the hechshearim you want. Otherwise, there are many other groc stores in the city near my office; Gristedes, Zaytuna, Associated; to name just a few. I'm sure I can find it for you !!!

Duck sauce is made with either apricots or plums. Can you get fresh plums and cook them down ... or can you think of another fruit your family might enjoy ?
