When Y"T comes out as a 3 day Y"T I prepare everything in one of those cholent bags before Y"T starts and put it in the fridge without water. I tie it closed and on friday I just add water and dump it in the crockpot, it takes up less room in your fridge than a big crock pot which helps with all the food Y"T and I like that it's totally sealed as opposed to a crock pot that only has a lid and can be knocked around.
