Has anyone ever prepared a batch of donut dough and refrigerated it for a couple of days later? I'm having a chanukah event Motzei Shabbos and want to serve donuts but they're best fresh, so can I make the dough on Friday and use it Motzei Shabbos?
Or, should I make the donuts in advance, freeze them and defrost them MS- will they be as good?

I see that noone replied to your question about refrigerating dough -- did you end up trying it? Did it work ? I'd like to try making Babka (or similar) dough the night before so to cut down the prep work.
Would love to hear if it worked for you ...
thanks !
