my 2 1/2 year old son started having blood in stool a while ago. he tested negative for shigella, e-coli, giardia, salmonella and campylobacter. he then went to a gi who id a colonoscopy/endoscopy, and the result was that there was some inflammation in colon. so we wnt to an allergist who said he has some mild allergies. we have taken him off the foods, but the blood has not gone away and it is a month now. we then went to a surgeon who did an explorative laparoscopy, and his abdominal cavity is clean and normal. the gi also ruled out celiacs, colitis, and krohns. every doc we have seen is stumped.
have any of you ever heard of something like this? we are at the end of our rope.
thanks in advance.
