I think it said its nineteen pounds and the maclaren was eleven. Sounds like a pretty big difference. I wonder if the diff in how it wheels makes the extra weight worth it. Also dh wants a handle that can be pushed with one hand.

what model Maclaren are you looking at? Maclaren ranges from the Volo- a very light travel carriage that the seat dosn't recline at all at about 10 pounds to the Techno XLR- full featured, reclines, comes with a car seat adapter, ability to take a bassinet at 18-20 pounds. in between there is the Triumph, Quest-those are popluar for travel strollers, the Ryder and a different version of the Techno. Same for the Cybex strollers, they range from the low end Ruby to the high end fully featured Callisto. The Callisto has a bar, the rest of them have 2 handles.

I have the callisto. I pushes very smooth - much smoother than the maclaren, and it has the same fold as the maclaren - very easy. I actually have another one (brand new in the box) to sell for a good price.

I have the Maclaren Quest for traveling, and I just love it. I also have the bee and wouldnt recommend it for traveling, as it needs a two hand fold.
