For the last four weeks, my son can sleep for over three hours, and he still wakes up screaming.
I try giving him a bottle (which he loves), his favorite toys, put him next to window to look out, hug him kiss him, but nothing helps, even if he is in my hands he still kicks and screams.

When I put him down he hits his head in the floor or wall and screams even higher. I thought its just a stage and it will stop, but its going on for four weeks already, and dont know what to do.

Did anyone experience that?

(he is 2, and after he calms down he is fine as if nothing happened)

is this the middle of the night or naptime? wasnt sure because you wrote he sleeps for three hrs then tantrums then is fine. my toddlers went through stages like this when waking up from their nap. almost like they werent ready to wake up or just mad that they slept. my 2 yo is going through it now, I've given up trying to make her happy. I stay nearby, keep her safe and wait it out. usually after 15 min or so she'd done and acts like nothing happened.
if its happening during the night, my first guess would be nightmares or night terrors.

My kids went through phases like this. Just give sympathy as much as seems helpful, and wait it out.

And know that it won't be like this forever!

If its at nap time...I also often wake up from afternoon naps in a bad mood.
Like I slept but not for long, I don't feel rested, just annoyed!

ur letting him sleep for too long so he is waking up grouchy, and the banging the head thing, the only way to get them to stop it is to ignore it, my daughter did it for a while and now bh she has stopped it after I totally ignored it
