Ds was approved for speech, ot, special ed, and a psych eval. Early intervention. It's been two weeks and still no therapists. The service coordinator is blaming it on my availability. 9:30-11:30 am at playgroup. Or 2-4 pm at home. How long would it reasonably take to hook me up with a therapist?

Not sure where you are located but in NJ I believe they have 30 days from when he was actually approved for services to find you a therapist ( at least that's what they told me when I was waiting on services for my son a year ago)

I think they have 30 days and then legally you have recourse to use another agency. I would call EI to make sure.
