You can probably try any bottled sauce instead - bbq, duck sauce, etc, and add water as needed.

Im now thinking that duck sauce wiuld be more suitable for corned beef than bbq. Id use bbq sauce for regular roast

I made corned beef for Shabbat with duck sauce and cayenne pepper and it was a hit.
I cooked the corned beef first, for 2 hours, changing the water in the middle.
Then I left it in the fridge to cool off overnight (without the water).
I poured duck sauce into a Pyrex dish and mixed it with cayenne pepper (sorry, I don't measure, but you can taste the sauce to see if you like the taste) and then added the sliced corned beef into it. Baked it covered on 350* for a hour.

What about using hot and spicy duck sauce (all I have left!), you think would be good?

Spicy duck sauce would be good.
You can also use 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/3 cup ketchup, 1 cup brown sugar and a bit of oil. Mix these together, pour over the cooked meat and bake, covered, at 350 for about 45 minutes. If you can, baste the meat with the sauce a few times. I made two corned beefs (is that a word?) at the beginning of the week and there is not a scrap left.
During the year, add 1/4 cup mustard to the sauce.

This is the sauce I pour over my corned beef:
2 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. mustard
5 Tbsp. ketchup
2 Tbsp. vinegar
less than a cup of brown sugar
mix it together and boil it. Then pour on top of corned beef.
