I'm glad things are falling into place.
Sounds like you are taking an optimistic, but still level-headed approach.
Nu, when are you coming? Smile

I've been following your journey FF, and I think you'll do just fine. You are clear on what is important to you and you have your priorities straight. Your "can do" attitude will stand you in good stead here and will really help in your klita.
Now all you have to do is pack up and come.
B'hatzlacha!!!

I wish you Bracha and hatzlacha on the move! Meshane makom, meshane mazel- the new place should bring about good changes for you!
And keep these posts to re-read in case things get difficult, you can remind yourself of everything you loved about it!

frantic frummie, I am so happy that you have settled on a new hometown. I just want to wish you tremendous hatzlacha and an easy klita. May you and your family be blessed with only good things

I spoke to an older couple over Pesach, who said to me "We came here 50 years ago and drained the swamps so that YOU can live here!" Wow, talk about Jewish guilt. Wink It really puts things in perspective. Paying the electric bill seems like small potatoes in comparison.
They were pulling your leg. No one was draining swamps for you 50 years ago. Maybe 70-80.

Try to help your daughter (and yourself) learn as much Hebrew as possible before you come.

I have the feeling that they also walked 5 miles to school, in the snow, uphill each way! LOL

Dang kids these days, they don't know how easy they have it. Wink

We're back in Seattle now. The whole way here, DD kept saying "I don't want to go back! I feel like I'm leaving my whole life behind. I belong in Israel!"

The house feels weird, like we don't really live here anymore. I am SO ready to start packing, as soon as I get over the jet lag.
