My friend who worked at the twin towers stopped and called her sister
to sing happy birthday to her . this delayed her from entering the
twin towers she also stopped to make up with a friend over a cup of coffee

Someone I know was going to have an interview at 9 in the moring in the second tower. They calle in the night before to delay the interview to the afternoon.

a cousin of mine who worked at the towers took the day off to spend it
with his mother since it was her birthday.

Then there were a bunch of ppl who worked there who went to the shloshim of the victims of that helicopter crash, and were not at the twin towers regular hours.
On the other hand a brother in law of someone in school with me, perished. They kept waiting for news from him. BH the person's wife I think remarried.

A friend of mine his wife was being induced last minute that morning with twins and he didn't go to work at the WTC.

twins...ironic
Its crazy how many nissim happened in one place at one time, though it was a huge tragic event. Now why is it that on an ordinary day we all, myself very much included cant remember such nissim? Is it bc its on a much smaller scale? Like not one's life being spared but more hashgacha pratit?

My dh missed his train because he was at slichos. He said that Thursday, at laining, there was a long line of men waiting to bench gomel.

Mine too. He worked in Tower #2 and was late b/c of Selichos, B"H.
