Just found out I am not supposed to freeze fondant cookies. I worked really hard on cookies for my dd's kiddush. What should I expect from them?

I have frozen fondant cookies many times. I wrap each cookie individually with Saran Wrap. Defrost several hours room temp. Good as fresh

Defrost each one in a single layer not touching each other and all wrappings removed.

You can just be prepared that they might change the texture a bit (the color might pale/"melt" etc)
Freeze each one individually. Make sure they are totally dry and wrap each one in tight saran wrap or a plastic bag. Alternatively you can lay them next to each other on a tray/in a container and use parchment paper between layers. Double wrap tight and well before freezing.
To defrost, make sure they defrost slowly at a regular room temperature.
