My dd- 10 is complaining about her mustache. Is there anyway to get rid of it besides waxing? She's really not comfortable with it

For my very thought-of-pain averse dd11 I bought the home waxing strips (sally hansen), they have one kit that comes with lidocaine wipes. It made it pain free for dd.
Bleaching is ok of your dd's skin is very pale, otherwise it just gives you a contrast mustache. (I wish someone had told me this when I was a teen!)

I remember kids in camp bleaching(?) their mustaches. Not sure what they were using but basically if she has dark hair, it will be less noticeable if the hair is white/blonde.
It was like a cream that was left on the hair for 10 minutes. No idea if it's healthy.
Edited to add:
I left the comp for a while and wrote this later. see that e/o wrote the same....

Do you know what they're called? Are they all safe? Never heard of it

I think it's called Jolen- they sell it in drugstores. Going thru same with DD 12 but the bleach did not work- she has dark skin and hair. We are entertaining the idea of waxing but she's very nervous about the pain.

Some people react badly to the bleach so try out a tiny area on the arm or hand first to see how it goes

Threading hurts way more.

My sils all had mustaches and unibrows. They did electrolysis monthly for abt 2 yrs and got rid of it permanently. You can also apply a numbing cream before for the pain.

Maybe a depilatory face cream? I used a Sally Hansen one years ago.

I remember my mom taking me to thread when I was 12. Was painful but bearable. I hated waxing and still do. I got used to the threading and do my whole face now without crying

No. They're not all safe. I literally burned my skin when trying it as a kid. I followed the instructions perfectly but some people are more sensitive than others.

I was going to suggest the Sally Hansen strips. They're very quick and it's convenient to be able to do it at home.

I took dd 14 for electrolysis. The electrologist said one year after period and they can start. Waxing before hand may end up working against you since electrolysis may take longer.

I use Nair depilatory cream. It's painless but you need to watch carefully and remove in time so it doesn't burn the skin. It needs to be repeated every 1-2 weeks.

You can try European waxing centers. They use a different type of wax and a lot less pain bc the wax is not hot.
Another option is an electric trimmer/shaver very thin made for face. Something like this https://www.amazon.com/Panason.....DT39C
I use st like that for maintenance between waxing
