Yeah, I know.
I have a bookcase headboard with books, various items one needs at bedside (itch cream, pony tail holders, you know... things you might need & not want to get out of bed) as well as photos displayed on top.
What the domestic employee is supposed to do (and what I will supervise next time) is dust all the shelves & photos and then change the linens (dust having possibly settled on them)
However, today after she changed the linens I noticed the shelves were dusty & asked her to dust them. Now, DH's bed is not attached (so we can move it to clean underneath etc) but mine is bolted to the headboard so I can sit up in bed & read without sliding away. So, what does she do but stand in her stocking feet ON MY PILLOWS as she dusts the shelves! So clearly I will have to change my pillowcases & ensure this does not happen next time.
The thing is, she doesn't seem unintelligent. But I guess where she comes from it's okay to walk on peoples pillows?
ETA: What should she have done? Spread a random towel on sheet over my pillows before climbing on them. Like I said, next time I will be more specific. Sigh.

She should have removed the linen from the bed, and stood on a towel or something. But your post made me laugh picturing her standing barefoot on your pillows , with dust mites scattering on the bed linen. 😀

Hmm. No towels on your pillows, because there should be no standing on pillows even with a layer on top.
Remove the pillows from that spot. Lay out a towel or disposable tablecloth on top of the linen so dust doesn't settle on the fresh linen. Then climb up to clean.
