It's just a mixture of a bubble bath type of thing formed into a ball that you put in the bath and it dissolves

Much ado about nothing. They fizz in water. If that turns you on, you can get the same effect by pouring baking soda and vinegar or lemon juice into your tub and adding some fragrant oil or bath salts.

It's no different from using bubble bath. Just a way to get perfume into the water. Gynecologists don't recommend soaking in cosmetic bath products because they can irritate your private parts as well as your skin. If you must soak, soak in plain water or water with some vinegar, which will preserve your skin's acid mantle.

Unfortunately, that's what these things are called. Nobody's invented a less offensive name for them.

Dr Teals makes a variation that's better for people who are avoiding dyes, etc, and is more in par with their soaks. Which I very much recommend instead- they come as bath salts with many different scents.

Dollar tree has an amazing bath section with different types of Epsom salt and bath rocks. I use those. I also use a little bubble bath like vanilla sugar from dollar tree.

Lush has ones that are supposed to be better for you but they are anti Israel and pretty expensive.

But their products all feel amazinggg

As others have said, they are essentially just a form of bubble bath. FWIW they also make something for the shower so that when you take a shower you get "aromatherapy".

In my experience, they are more popular with the teenage and tween set because they come in all kinds of fun shapes and colors and the brands that make them will do special limited editions etc.

They also are considered to be nice "casual" presents because they are relatively inexpensive and you can get a few and they make a pretty present.

I don't like baths as I get bored but at one time in my life I did try relaxing with a bubble bath but I preferred relaxing in a comfortable chair and not worrying about my book getting wet. 🤣 However, I never had problems with a UTI or irritation from the bubbles and I don't think most women do. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Of course I didn't scrub with the bubble bath water either. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't think that's entirely true, most are just epsom salts and some essential oils.

I use them sometimes in my kids' baths they find them fun and gets them in the bath.
